There is a difference in quality when it comes to exhaust.

Mufflers and pipes do wear out.

It's a pretty tough neighborhood in the exhaust pipes and muffler. A lot of heat, corrosive chemicals, moisture from condensation and the parts are relatively thin. Not to mention road water and even salt if you get snow.

This is one place you don't want to skimp if you plan to keep the car for a while.

Discount muffler shops usually use generic or economy parts, or straight pipes, and custom bend them in the shop. This does keep the cost down, but often the quality or thickness is less. Most of the competition' s warranties do not cover labor.

We use only high quality "factory fit" parts that we expect to last, but if they don't, our warranty covers parts and labor. There are no tricks or hidden charges. If your muffler or pipe gets a hole in it within the 1 year warranty period, we'll put on another one at no charge.
